Generator over there.
Factory over here.

Wheeling lets a wind farm in the Northern Cape supply a smelter in Mpumalanga over the existing grid. The wires belong to Eskom or your metro. The contract belongs to you.

Mechanics

Five moving parts. We coordinate all five.

  • 01

    Generator agreement

Eskom or municipal charge for moving electrons across the network.

  • 03

    Imbalance settlement

Resolves the gap between scheduled and metered volume, half-hourly.

  • 04

    Loss factor

Network losses applied at the point of delivery, typically 1.9–6.2%.

  • 05

    NERSA & grid code

Filings, registrations and connection compliance, all on file.

Every route starts with a one-page feasibility memo.

Tell us where your meter sits and how much you draw. We'll tell you which IPP to wheel from, what the route costs, and what it leaves on the bottom line.
